My Story
I’m Madi — your really weird art Barbie ! Welcome to Peach x Palace (the “x” is silent, but it stands for cnt xecutive officer* — because yes, one of the many places we belong is the boardroom).
Peach x Palace is my love letter to the inner child who just wanted to make art. She finally has permission to explore, to be seen, and to help others do the same. Here, we celebrate the union of business and pleasure, exploring the contrasts of darkness and light — sensuality, vulnerability, and unapologetic self-expression — all while finding new friends along the way.
I started PXP as my second chance: a way to reinvest in my art and create space for others to do so too. I design vintage-inspired dressing rooms influenced by the Renaissance and my Italian heritage, pairing them with journalistic-style photography that honors both intimacy and storytelling.
After a trip of a lifetime through the Tuscan countryside — I experienced true peace among ancient architecture and serene landscapes — I knew I wanted to bring that feeling home. Now, I weave that timeless beauty into the modern, industrial world of Chicago.
At Peach x Palace, we connect opportunities, celebrate art, and build a brighter future through creativity. So let’s play.
Together, we are a group of powerhouse women and creatives who lift each other up. Through collaboration and outreach, we take pride in being a full-service creative studio.
In addition to our magazine, we offer a unique 1:1 approach that gives our clients a crystal-clear roadmap to creative success. With access to professional-level equipment and resources, we uphold the highest standards of quality in every project we take on—whether that’s editorial design, photography, branding, or event production.
Abbey La Tour is a storyteller who has been living in Chicago for the past 3 years. They graduated from Southern Illinois University — Carbondale in 2019 with a bachelor’s of science in journalism and a bachelor’s of fine arts in communication design.
Over the years, La Tour has had a hand in all aspects of story telling, whether it be through writing, photograph or designing. Some of the design work has included magazines, books, newspapers, logos, in addition to illustrating and writing her own book.
Since Madi and Abbey, Peoria, IL natives, met online, they have bonded over their passion for queer representation and a love of physical media.
They hope to walk in the footsteps of those before and ensure that queer art is seen and preserved in the Windy City.
