making an impact through fashion

What makes this collection so special is that several queer women in fashion, pleasure, and business all came together — to bring this vision to life.

by Madison Lane

For me, it was never about what name was on the line. We just wanted the opportunity to create space for other kinky women to be on the runway. There are so many unspoken rules in fashion, and part of creating your own lane is simply making them up as you go.

So many times I was asked, “Are you sure you can do that?”
And I’m like — yeah. Actually, I can. And I did.

When I started PxP, I knew I wanted to create something that brought people together — but I had a long way to go before I could allow other people in. It started with how I felt when I looked in the mirror. That relationship has always been complicated. But I knew that if I ever wanted the fairytale romance, I had to give it to myself first.

And I knew I wasn’t alone in that.

So I kept writing. I kept sitting with the idea. And we grew — together.

Some of the most beautiful connections I’ve made started with a tiny DM:
“omg hey… do you want to be part of my kinky runway?”
And they were like, “omg yeah — tell me more.”

So I did.

And I realized that so many other people were craving this space too.

I think the most important thing about turning a new page in life is deciding, “I’m going to make this work this time.” And when you do, the right people show up to help you build it.

So thank you — truly — to all the incredible queer business owners who have inspired me this past year, this is ours.
