02/06/26 — Peach x Palace -Chicago’s only modern vintage editorial, woman-owned creative studio defied all odds and brought leather and lingerie into a church to tell sapphic love stories, celebrate queer media, and of course, iconic fashion.

Madison Lane + Abbey La Tour spent the last year visiting the beach for inspiration, building vintage pop-up sets inspired by retro Playboy lounges — in a non-problematic way. The two wanted to explore what it would be like to have a sapphic Dracula and bring that magic to the stage. Then Carmilla came to life.

But what if she was just a neurospicy girl exploring kink through fashion?

Lane wanted to take a stance on the fashion industry in Chicago, making it more accessible through a community theater-style production. This gave models + collaborators the opportunity to make their own rules when it comes to art, allowing more room for talent in Chicago.

Christina Schutz, founder of The Fashion Foundry, met the duo last year and knew there needed to be more inclusive spaces for fashion and sensuality to be explored. Together, they created a SOLD OUT RUNWAY — celebrating all of our favorite things: lingerie, lace, light, dark, performance.

Peach x Palace is a community publication that invests in artists and gives them a platform to display their art. In the past year, PxP has been in over five forms of media: but our favorite by far is any offline source of media- and especially live in color- we look

We did it. We brought the renaissance back to Chicago.
